Photoshoot // The Stolen Child ✮

Hi everyone! This is my second photo shoot in a series. The first one is here is you're interested! I've been inspired by these  myths and things from the show Supernatural. I saw the episode on fairies recently, and I remembered a beautiful, haunting irish poem by W.B. Yeats about fairies that lure children away into the forest. The imagery is absolutely captivating, and I've included an excerpt below.

Onto fashion! This dress was debuted in The Dreamer's Factory by BCC, but is now at the main store. It comes in a variety of adorable designs, but this kingyo one is hands down my favorite! My fellow blogger Penny gave me this cute bumblebee fairy by Ohmai! which was available at the previous Arcade. Check out Penny's blog here. The cute fairy wings and fairy bottle are part of BCC's group gift that includes a full fairy outfit. They include particles so it looks absolutely magical. The bag is by VCO and comes in the cutest designs.

I hope you enjoy today's photo shoot. Hope you're liking the series!

PHOTOS

Where dips the rocky highland
Of Sleuth Wood in the lake,
There lies a leafy island
Where flapping herons wake
The drowsy water-rats.
There we've hid our faery vats
Full of berries,
And of reddest stolen cherries.
Come away, O, human child!
To the woods and waters wild
With a faery hand in hand,
For the world's more full of weeping than
you can understand.

Where the wave of moonlight glosses
The dim grey sands with light,
Far off by farthest Rosses
We foot it all the night,
Weaving olden dances,
Mingling hands, and mingling glances,
Till the moon had taken flight;
To and fro we leap,
And chase the frothy bubbles,
While the world is full of troubles
And is anxious in its sleep.
Come away! O, human child!
To the woods and waters wild,
With a faery hand in hand,
For the world's more full of weeping than you can understand.
